Sobriety Checkpoint Location Announced
The Highway Patrol has announced the location of this week’s sobriety checkpoint. Lt. Matt Boyd says his troopers along with the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office will host the event from 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. tonight (Friday) on 7th Street in Coshocton. The Sobriety Checkpoint is funded by federal grants and is designed to deter and intercept impaired drivers. The event will be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat impaired-driver related injury and fatal crashes.
