Sobriety Checkpoint On Northpointe Drive

The Highway Patrol says it plans a sobriety check-point Friday night in Zanesville. Lt Matt Boyd says it will take place from 9:00 pm to 12:00 am on Northpointe Drive. Boyd says the event will be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat drug and alcohol-related crashes. If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
