Sonora Man Indicted On 48 Sex Charges

A Muskingum County Grand Jury has indicted a Sonora Man on 48 sex-related charges.

40-year-old James C. Emmons, Jr. was indicted on Wednesday on charges including gross sexual imposition, rape, and sexual battery among others. The prosecutor’s office says the incidents began in February of 2005 with a victim who was nine-years-old and continued until November of 2010.

Emmons faces life in prison if convicted of all counts.
