Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra to Take Center Stage at Secrest Auditorium

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville Concert Association unveiled an event that’s set to grace the halls of the Secrest Auditorium.

On Monday, February 19th at 7 pm, the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra will be taking stage, offering a performance of Ludwig Beethoven’s timeless compositions. This concert is sure to delight audiences of all ages. Adult tickets can be purchased online or at the door, while all kids, youth, and college students with a current ID get in for free!

“There will be 48 performers on the stage. Kids that have heard about the four different families of musicians, they can actually see them and hear them live,” ZCA’s Booking Agent, Jim McLaughlin said.

Next year marks the ZCA’s 85th year of bringing world-class musicians to perform here in Zanesville. In an exclusive hint from ZCA’s Booking Agent, Jim McLaughlin, the next concert season promises to be an even bigger celebration of music and talent.

“The hint next year is a big season. We’ve doubled the budget; we’ll have five concerts. I’m not able to tell the names just yet. It will be a five-concert season with major artists. We want to really dot the I in Zanesville over music,” McLaughlin said.
