Spring Has Sprung with Summer-Like Temperatures
Tuesday marked the first day of Spring; despite that fact that it felt more like the first day of Summer.
Many people were out enjoying the warm weather including golfers at Zanesville Jaycees Public Golf Course.
Some golfers told us they have been golfing straight through the mild Winter.
"This is the first year ever that we’ve played golf, January, February and March. Normally you never get to do that, so we’re very fortunate," said Joe Ansel.
"We’ve golfed January, February, March. Actually we’ve golfed about every week," said Gene Klinehoffer.
"It’s such a beautiful day to be out here. We like to get out here and play, there are about 11 of us out here today, and with the birds, and the bees, and the flowers, it’s a beautiful day to be out here," added Fred Wahl.
"I tell you, we’re ahead of the game no matter what happens, we’re ahead of the game. We’ve golfed every month this year. We’re really enjoying ourselves," says Les Dailey.
" We’ve had quite a bit of play due to the great weather. It’s 80 degrees and sunny, it brings everybody out. It seems like everybody is out here all at the same time, and we try to get them out there as fast as we can," said professional golfer, Tyler Baughman.
Temperatures are expected to be warmer on Wednesday.
