St. Nicholas Festival Starts in Zanesville

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The St. Nicholas Festival is underway at Rosecrans High School and there are lots of activities to bring you joy.
Admission is free and festival volunteer, Tony Palandrani, explains there is a wealth of food and entertainment in schedule for Friday and Saturday, August 4th and 5th.
“Tomorrow we have Locke 17 and on Saturday night we have Noah Smith which is a band out of Southwest Ohio around Cincinnati, a country band. Then we have food and drink, French fries, sausage, burgers, funnel cakes, taco in a bag, beer, Gatorade, and pop.”
Anyone interested in rides can purchase wristbands for 15 dollars and finally on Saturday one lucky individual will go home with thousands of dollars.
“On Saturday night we will have a drawing for 5,000 dollars. If you came up you can buy some raffle tickets. They are right when you come in the entrance of the festival its the capital prize booth. There is one 5,000 dollar winner and then there is ten 100 dollar winners.”
The festival will be open from 6 to midnight Friday and Saturday and all proceeds go towards offsetting the cost of catholic education on Zanesville.
