St. Patrick’s Day Fundraiser for Mental Health on March 12th
The event is a joint effort of the local Knights of Columbus and the local “Six-County” affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) to support the areas mental health services.
The event will be featuring Zanesville native Tom Quinn Jr. in the 50’s and 60’s rock band “Remember Then”. The group will be raising money for the areas mentally ill and developmentally disabled.
Pat Quinn, Vice President at NAMI Six-County said that it’s a great event to help support people with mental illnesses and their families.
“The NAMI slogan is that treatment works and people recover, recovered people work, and working people pay taxes. So we appreciate every dollar that’s raised for the mentally ill,” said Quinn.
