Stephen E. Mock, 74, of Chandlersville, passed away early Tuesday June 11, 2024 at Genesis Hospital Emergency Room. He was born on August 7, 1949 in Zanesville, a son of the late Eugene and Evelyn (Eck) Mock. He was a United States Army Veteran serving two tours in Vietnam between 1969 and 1972. He was a lifelong farmer and retired from Owens Brockway Glass. He had served on the board of the Muskingum County Farm Bureau, was a member of the Duncan Falls VFW and American Legion. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he loved going to all their activities. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Juanita Kay Mock. Three children Kara (Jason) Harris, Craig (Britni) Mock, and Stephanie Mock. Five grandchildren Sydni Harris, Kassydi Harris, Halli Harris, Mason Mock and Monroe Mock. One brother Robert (Linda) Mock. Two sisters Chris (Jeff) Hamill and Susan (Tim) Thompson. Several nieces and nephews. Brother-in-law Dan Ankrum. Brother-in-law and sister-in-law Chuck and Cindy McCloud. Sister-in-law Ann Mock.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Sid Mock. His in-laws Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCloud. Sister-in-law Kimberly Ankrum. Nephews Kyle Mock and Brad Hamill.
Friends may call from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday June 14, 2024 at William Thompson & Son Funeral Home 5765 Gladstone Drive White Cottage where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 15, 2024. Pastor Lisa Jenkins and Chaplain William Blair officiating. Burial will be in Chandlersville Cemetery.
