Steven Douglas “Steve” Taylor, 72 of Zanesville passed away on Saturday July 11, 2026, at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

Steve was born in Urbana, Ohio on January 24, 1954, to the late Marvin and Martha Potter Taylor. He was a 1972 Graduate of Lebanon High School in Indiana. He retired from Coulson Compression as a welder. Steve was a former member of the Moose Lodge and Zanesville United States Bowling Congress. He was a very active bowler and achieved a perfect 300 game, enjoyed fishing, arrowhead hunting, and telling jokes.

He is survived by his wife Robin Clark Taylor, whom he married May 19, 2001; four children: Bryan Taylor, Cory (Sky Foreman) Taylor, Kayla Cumberledge and Dakota Cumberledge; two sisters in law: Ruth Taylor and Mary Taylor; four grandchildren: Owen Taylor, Noah Taylor, Raelynn Taylor and Adalynn Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Jim Taylor and Ron Taylor; and two sisters: Linda (Allen) Brown and Shirley (Rex) Likens.

Calling hours will be from 2-5 pm on Tuesday July 14 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral service will follow at 5pm with Brad McCune officiating. Cremation care has been entrusted to The Snouffer Crematory.
