Stinson makes history as Sheridan rolls Meadowbrook

BYESVILLE, Ohio – Faith Stinson’s name is already etched in the record books at Sheridan High School.
On Wednesday night, she added another entry.
The Lady Generals came in to the night 10-1 after suffering their first loss on Monday morning, falling to Archbishop Hoban in overtime. They had the opportunity to get back on track with a mid-week trip to new MVL foe Meadowbrook.
Faith Stinson led the way for Sheridan with 43 points, breaking Renee Leroy’s record of 41 points set in 1978.
Stinson already owned the record for most blocks in a game with 13, a mark she set last season. She nearly matched that total on Wednesday, racking up 11 along with 17 rebounds to earn a triple double on the night as Sheridan wins big over Meadowbrook.
