Stockport Mayor Faces Rape Charges

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office says the Mayor of Stockport is in custody on rape charges. Sheriff Tom Jenkins says on Monday his office received a report from Morgan County Children’s Service of an alleged rape of a juvenile. Jenkins says after an investigation 38-year-old Michael Shane Shuster was charged. Jenkins says after bond hearing Shuster was taken to the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail. A preliminary hearing is set for next week. No other details were released.
