Muskingum County- A man charged in a shooting that happened in January of this year has plead guilty.

The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office said Chaison Suber entered the plea to charges of felonious assault with a firearm and having a weapon while not allowed to own one.

Authorities said on January 24, they responded to a call about a medical emergency at a house on Wheeling Avenue. There they found Ron Hall with a gunshot wound to his lower left leg. Witnesses said Suber and Hall had gotten into an argument before the shooting. Security footage showed Suber arguing with Hall, pulling a gun and firing a single shot at Hall.

Police later found the gun, a black Taurus 9mm with an extended magazine, hidden behind paneling in an upstairs bedroom.
