Substitute Teacher Pleads Not Guilty to Sex Charges

An area substitute teacher pleads not guilty to sex charges in Muskingum County Common Pleas Court. The Prosecutor’s Office says that 23-year-old Darci Lake, a Maysville local school district substitute teacher, pled not guilty to 9 counts of sexual battery. Court records indicate the offenses occurred between February and November of 2017.  Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle continued her bond at $200,000.
