Summer Fun Family Extravaganza

Zandex Health Care is inviting the community to the Beckett House this Saturday for a day of summer fun.

Sno cones, games, and crafts will keep the crowd entertained at Zandex’s first annual, Summer Fun Family Family Extravaganza. Beckett House Administrator, Lori Erwine, said they will also have free food and live music.

“Basically, we’re just utilizing this event as a way to give back to the community, everything is free, so we would like the community to come join us and participate in our activities,” Erwine said.

The New Concord Fire Department will make a special appearance and partake in the celebration. As a member of Zandex Healthcare, Erwine said it’s always fulfilling to be able to give back to the community in this way.

“It’s very rewarding, it’s rewarding in a way also to see the staff work together and get excited about offering a fun day for the community,” Erwine said. “It’s nice because we know the residents get excited also to enjoy all the activities we have planned, and see families interact and see families of the employees come.”

The event runs this Saturday, from 1 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Beckett House in New Concord. The day of fun will end with a much anticipated Pyrotechnica fire show.
