Teams Now Forming for Bowl for Kids’ Sake Fundraiser

ZANESVILLE, OH – Get ready to lace up your bowling shoes… it’s time to make some magic! Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville is gearing up for one of their most beloved events, and they want you to be part of it!

The annual Bowl for Kids’ Sake fundraiser is right around the corner. This year’s theme is Magic in Mentoring, and BBBSZ is currently looking for teams of 4 to 6 people to sign up and join the fun. Don’t forget your wand and wizard hat, because there will be a best dressed award.

“We invite our teams that register to come dressed up. There’s a best dressed award over that three-day event. People probably wonder how to fundraise for this event. We do peer to peer fundraising. When you register your team, you will receive a packet from Big Brothers Big Sisters with Strike It Big tickets as well as some bowling pins,” BBBSZ President and CEO Katie Lupsor said.

Teams are asked to help fundraise by selling the Strike It Big tickets or bowling pins to friends, family, and coworkers. All proceeds from the event will go directly to Big Brothers Big Sisters to help support mentoring relationships for local kids.

“The proceeds from this event will 100% go back to all youth programs. We have several different youth programs, we’re currently in many different partnering schools in a five-county reach, as well as some community-based programs that we’re doing,” Lupsor said.

Bowl for Kids’ Sake will take place April 16th, 17th, and 18th at the Sunrise Bowling Center in Zanesville. You can register your team online on the BBBSZ website, or by calling their office at (740) 453-7300.
