Teenager Indicted In Her Father’s Death

The case of a Muskingum County teenager accused of shooting and killing her father went before a Muskingum County Grand Jury Wednesday. Prosecutor Mike Haddox says that 19-year-old Jenifer Lynn McHenry was indicted on one count of aggravated murder with a gun specification. Haddox says McHenry will be arraigned next weekend in Common Pleas Court. The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office was called to 6-60 Irish Ridge Road on June 15th at 10:30 pm where they found 56-year-old Donald McHenry dead in the front yard. In a 9-1-1 call released by the Sheriff’s Office Jenifer McHenry said her father tried to kill her.
