Terry Curtin Named ZAAP Gallery Artist of the Month
ZANESVILLE, OH – Terry Curtin has been named the Artist of the Month for May at the ZAAP Gallery.
Curtin has prepared charcoal, digital, as well as some painted works for his show during the First Friday Artwalk.
“I work in different styles as you can see and as you will see.” Curtin said. “It ranges from more realistic to basically all the way to abstraction.”
Curtin said he went out on a limb and started to create his works and he just never stopped.
He says it feels great to be recognized as the Artist of the Month as well as it’s giving him the chance to meet people who are interested in his works.
He also described some of the pieces that will be on display for First Friday.
“Some of them I’ve done in the past and the digitals works are my newest works.” Curtin said. “It’s been a new medium for me and I’m excited about it.”
The ZAAP Gallery will be open from 5 to 8PM tomorrow night if you’d like to stop in and see some of Curtin’s pieces.
The Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project is located at 625 Main Street in Zanesville.
