Terry Richard “Rick” Franklin, Jr.

Terry “Rick” Richard Franklin, Jr., 59 of Zanesville, passed peacefully, surrounded by his family at 6:05 AM, Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Genesis Morrison House Hospice following a long, hard courageous and brave battel with Sardosis.

He was born Sunday, April 15, 1962, in Zanesville, the son of Terry Richard Franklin, Sr. and Laura (Kelso) Franklin, and married Robin E. (Crump) Franklin on Tuesday, February 7, 2006.

Rick was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather; nothing brought him more joy than spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He loved riding his motorcycle and the Green Bay Packers.

Rick is survived by his wife: Robin Franklin; one son: Terry Richard “Richie” (Danielle Stinson) Franklin, III of Blue Rock; three daughters: Stephanie (Anthony) Franklin- Hyatt of New Mexico, Erica (Brad) Webb-Gillogly and Brittany Webb both of Zanesville; thirteen special grandchildren; two brothers: Ron (Debra) Franklin of Las Vegas and Carl (Tina) Franklin of Zanesville; one sister: Wanda Trussell and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

In addition to his parents, Rick was preceded in death by two daughters: Erin Webb and Erica Bailey and one infant sister: Pamela Franklin.

In accordance with Rick’s wishes a cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to Morrison House Hospice, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701, in Rick’s memory.
