Terry’s Tavern Will Host Riverfest 2016

ZANESVILLE,Ohio– Saturday Terry’s Tavern will host Riverfest 2016.

The Muskingum Riverway Advocacy Council is sponsoring Riverfest 2016. The goal is to raise funds to keep our river clean, navigational, and safe.

“That’s what MRAC is all about,” Muskingum Riverway Advocacy Council President Jake Creeks said. “We’re made up of all volunteers and we need volunteers. We need members. We need the support.”

Riverfest 2016 will be begin at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9th, Riverfest will also feature Christmas in July boat parade, the parade will start at 3 p.m.

“We’re going to have a Chinese auction,” Muskingum Riverway Advocacy Council Vice President Randy Lowther said. “We’re going to have raffle prizes, half and half. We’re going to sell beads just to have fun and have games also based on those beads. We’re going sell hot dogs and french fries. We’re just going to have a fun day for the family. And come out and enjoy the day along the river.”
