“The Bee” Returns to Dresden
The Longaberger Company announced Tuesday the return of its annual convention to the Village of Dresden.
The company stated, in a press release, “The Bee” will bring more than 1,000 people to the Longaberger Homestead and into the village of Dresden for three days at the end of July. Each summer, Longaberger Home Consultants come from around the nation for the annual event.
This is the first time in 30 years that the event will be held in Dresden as for the past three decades it has been in Columbus.
Longaberger Chairman, CEO and President, John Rochon Jr. said “Dresden is where [the] company began. It’s where it was born.” He continued to say in a statement that “Bringing it home, surrounded by the community and the Longaberger family, is the right thing to do.”
