North/West Shore Bar & Bus Hop to Support Tornado Victims
BUCKEYE LAKE, OH – This Saturday, April 13th, the Boatyard in Buckeye Lake is set to host its first North/West Shore Bar & Bus Hop.
This event aims to raise funds for the Indian Lake Community, which is currently recovering from the devastating impacts of the March 14th EF3 tornado. It’s an opportunity for the community to come together, offer support, and enjoy a day filled with fun, all for a good cause.
“Indian Lake and Buckeye Lake are almost like cousins. We both have a lot of boats and a lot of families that live on the lake. We just thought it’d be nice to support them. You never know when it’s going to hit here, and I know they’ve been hit hard,” Randy Coconis, Part Owner of the Boatyard said.
There will be 11 participating locations, each offering their own mix of food and drink specials. To add to the excitement, attendees can also look forward to live music. There will be free shuttle services from 12 PM to 12 AM to ensure that guests can easily hop between locations.
“I’m looking forward to seeing a bunch of friends from Zanesville, around Columbus, and everything. Hopefully there’ll be some people who come out that’s never been out to Buckeye Lake and experience it. There’ll be no easier and safer way to do it because you can get free travel to 11 different bars on the lake all day long,” Coconis said.
All the fun begins at noon and wraps up at midnight! For more details, visit the Buckeye Lake website below.
