The Carr Center Cake Auction is Set For April 28 & 29th
ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Carr Cake Auction is just around the corner.
This year’s cake auction is particularly special as it marks the 30th year for the fundraiser.
“It’s very important to us because it actually subsidizes all of our programs, at least one-third of our operating budget. It’s real important to us that it’s always successful. What’s so beautiful about the cake auction is that it’s a great reflection of the generosity of this community. And an example of people understanding what we do. Thinking about what we do is valuable. And valuable enough for us to be in business one more year,” said Carr Center Executive Director Kimberly Hosler.
Hosler said to keep an eye on your mail.
“We sent out about a thousand of these. These are our invitation to the cake auction. If you participated in the last few years you should be expecting these. Other wise, they can go online to the Carr Center’s website which is www.carrcenter.org there is a tab pull down under cake auction and you can register online. We just started that last year. That was very useful,” said Hosler.
The auction will be broadcast live both days on AM 1240 radio.
