The Countdown Begins as Shoppers Race to Get Last Minute Items

Some shoppers waited down to the wire Christmas Eve. And if you waited to the 11th hour to get your holiday gifts, well you are not alone.

The Colony Square Mall was filled with shoppers who procrastinated until the very last possible day to shop. Hoping to get their hands on some presents for their loved ones.

“Me and my son Greyson do last minute Christmas shopping because it’s what we do,” said Vincent Jordan.

“Doing a little last minute shopping,” said Michael Wels. “Which I do every year. I’m one of the typical 11th hour shoppers. And I dragged the boys out with me to get something for mommy. We have a lot of lucky so far.”

The Colony Square Mall opened it’s doors at 10 a.m. today. But it is now and will remain closed Christmas Day as well. But if you just remembered that you forgot to get something for someone. Don’t worry Santa most likely has it on his list.
