The Greater Zanesville Singers Present The Songs of Christmas
ZANESVILLE, Ohio-Â Locals gather to kick off the season of Christmas.
The Greater Zanesville Singers celebrated their 29th annual Christmas concert. The choir members are all dressed alike in royal blue shirts and black pants. All in unison sang angelically. Their voices carried through the hall of Coburn United Methodist Church. The Songs of Christmas concert featured 13 Christmas carols. Choir Director, Kim Peadon said they have been preparing for this concert since august.
“The choir members work so hard all year to get for this day” said Kim Peadon. “They finally have the chance to present their music for the community.”
It’s beginning to sound like Christmas. These singers sang all the classics even some with a new spin. These songs helped the audience get in the Christmas spirit with toe tipping and head bobbing Christmas melodies.
“We just think it’s a good way to kickoff the Christmas season, get everybody in the mood for Christmas” said Peadon. “When you’re the Greater Zaneville Singers we think there is no better way to do that but with music.”
If you love to sing, The Greater Zanesville Singers would love to have you. Join them at Starlight School on 655 Zane Street the first Monday of January at 7 o clock.
