The Oaks Invites Community to Celebrate and Give Back

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is inviting the community to two fun events coming up next week.
The Oaks will host an open house on Wednesday, November 5th from 4 to 6 p.m., with the ribbon-cutting ceremony starting at 4. Guests can enjoy live entertainment, refreshing spritzers, gourmet appetizers, and more while touring the facility.
“At the open house, we’ll be celebrating a ribbon cutting ceremony. It’s basically a milestone for us. It’s been one year since the transition from our previous ownership. With that, we had a name change, we’re now The Oaks Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. We’re just celebrating the change that we’ve had over the last year and reintroducing us to the community.” April Huffman, the Administrator said.
Then on Thursday, November 7th, laughter takes the stage at Comedy Night for a Cause at Bryan Place. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 8. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door. Guests can also enjoy a chance auction and a 50/50 raffle. All proceeds will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.
“Tickets sold ahead of time are $25. They’ll be $35 at the door. If larger groups or businesses would like to purchase a table of eight seats, it’s $250. To purchase tickets, you can call the facility at (740) 452-3000.” Admissions & Marketing Coordinator, Kayla Hinkle said.
“I believe we’ve raised close to $15,000 for the Alzheimer’s Association. We’ve also done some other events at the campus as well. So, it’s something we’re very passionate about.” Huffman said.
The Oaks is located at 3291 North Pointe Drive, and Bryan Place is at 49 North 6th Street in Zanesville. For more information on these events, visit The Oaks website.
