“Well it’s fabulous isn’t it,” MaryAnn said.
“It really is. The community support, the (Muskingum County) Community Foundation, the community’s been very generous and very kind to us and everything,” Ron said. “We’ve given out over $50,000 in scholarships and we still have over sixty-some-thousand in the community foundation fund to support these scholarships and everything. And we’re just humbled and honored to be able to that in memory of our daughter and Dr. Dietz.”
The MCCF and the Bucci’s will be presenting this years Adult Artist Awards at the ZAAP Art Gallery in downtown Zanesville at 8 p.m. Saturday.
“Oh I’m just looking forward to handing out checks,” said MaryAnn. “…and of course it’s the community foundation that’s the administration of the money. We’re just the lucky ones that get to hand it out and so that’s why we’re giving several, so I won’t say how many, but we’re giving several monetary awards. ”
The ZAAP Gallery will also be displaying artwork by their artist of the month, Rae Gandolf, and offer free cake to attendees.
