The State Wrestling Tournament begins

COLUMBUS, OH- Today was a big day for high school wrestling as the state tournament started at the Schottenstein Center at The Ohio State University.

Many of our local wrestlers have had great season so far up to this point but they weren’t trying to stop just yet until the weight class champion is crowned on Sunday.

In the first day of competition, we had 27 local wrestlers to start their state tournament run and earn a high placement in what should be a crazy exciting weekend.

After the exciting day these are the winners that advanced to tomorrows second round.
