The Summer Months Welcomes’ Fresh Produce

Zanesville, Ohio- The summer brings an abundance of fresh produce for local gardeners.

That means there are more opportunities to add tasty and healthy choices to your everyday meals. Ethan Cooper is a vendor at the Farmer’s Market. Cooper said what you will find at his business is something you won’t find in grocery stores.

"It’s kind of the same concept as Wal-Mart and another store, a big chain and you have a smaller one. The little guy you can usually taste the difference because, it’s a lot more time a lot more preparation, a lot more tedious work compared to a larger chain. Where our cucumbers they don’t look prefect but, you’re not throwing them out neither, we’re still trying to sale them and get as much as we can to the consumers where they sort them out and you only see perfect and the rest our junk," said Ethan Cooper,
Arnold’s Farm and Market.

Cooper said the family owned and operated business, located in McConnelsville Ohio has been around for nearly 70 years. He told us the reason for their success is due to the pride take in their customer service.

"We always take pride in our work, we’re always very picky, trying to make sure the customers are always happy. We never want to leave with an upset customer at all," said Cooper.
