The Winerak in Zanesville Hosts daily French Wine Tastings
ZANESVILLE, OH – The Winerak, well-known for its exceptional selection of wines, offers a unique opportunity to explore the diverse flavors of French vineyards.
From French wines to other fine vintages, the Winerak has something for every wine lover. Among the favorites, the refreshing and popular rosé has captured the hearts of many locals.
“France makes a delicious rosé wine. It’s light in color, it’s a pinkish shade like a White Zinfandel. It’s not sweet like White Zinfandel. It’s semi dry wine. It’s very light. You chill that, and it’s a very refreshing wine for the summer whether it’s around the pool, in the evening, or happy hour. Especially with lighter foods like shrimp, and cheeses from France,” Owner of The Winerak, Mike Alfman said.
Starting on Friday, July 19th, the Winerak is promoting Wines of the Olympics by hosting a daily wine tasting event at noon. Each day, a selection of French wines will be availble for sampling, offering a perfect way to celebrate the spirit of international unity with a taste of France.
“On your way home, if you want to stop in and try a different French wine, we’ll have two or three of them out. Especially the rosé wine. You can come in and try it,” Alfman said.
The Winerak is located at 2336 Maple Avenue and is expanding their hours on Fridays and Saturdays to 9 PM for the rest of summer.
