The Zanesville Chamber of Commerce is Gearing up for another Holly Jolly Christmas

ZANESVILLE, OHThe Zanesville chamber of commerce is getting ready for its annual holiday fundraiser.

The 32nd annual Festival of Trees Auction kicks off on Friday December 6th at the Welcome Center in Downtown Zanesville.

This auction is a great opportunity for businesses looking to showcase their creative side all while celebrating themselves, their community and other local businesses.

Zanesville-Muskingum Chamber President Dana Matz was excited to share his love for this annual auction.

“We have a very creative community,” Matz exclaimed. “Folks take a lot of pride in having unique entries, unique incentives, so we’re really excited about that.”

Entries have just begun to roll in, so there’s still time to enter if you would like to do so. The money raised from the auction will go towards the chamber’s programs and events that showcase, support, and uplift businesses in Muskingum County.

“Our goal is to have between 180-200 entries. In the past we went as high as 222 entries, so that’s our goal. Then with the revenue raised we just appreciate the amount that we get. We appreciate everybody and all of the hard work that goes into this,” Matz continued. “The support of the community and the support of the business community, more importantly for us, is why we do what we do as a business management organization.”

Those interested in participating can visit the chamber of commerce website, www.zmchamber.com and enroll by stating your entry and incentive.

The auction will take place December 6th from 9am to 6pm. You can tune into the live AM1240 broadcast, or you can attend the auction in person at the Welcome Center
