Theresa Hague

Theresa Hague, 63, of Zanesville, passed away on November 27, 2025, at Grant Medical Center in Columbus following a brief illness. She was born on March 27, 1962, in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Delbert Grubb and Shelby (Baker) Grubb.

Theresa worked as a social worker assistant for the Muskingum County Health Department. Prior to that, she spent 15 years as a manager at the East Pike McDonald’s. She also cherished her years as a stay-at-home mother, devoted to raising and caring for her children. Theresa was a Jehovah’s Witness and a member of the Zanesville Kingdom Hall.

She is survived by her children, Trevor (Jennifer) Hague, Derek (Jade) Hague, and Brittney (Koen) Vrij; her grandchildren, Trevor Jr., Collin, Tripp, Avereigh, Baileigh, Tytan, and a grandson on the way; her siblings, Delbert “Pete” (Lorry) Grubb and Peggy McGaha.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Hague, who passed away in 1995, and her brother, Billy Bob McPherson.

In keeping with her wishes, a caring cremation will take place, and no services will be held at this time. The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the Hague family.
