Thersea Hemmer

Theresa M. Hemmer, age 91, of Zanesville, died 4:50 PM, Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Signature Health Care in Coshocton.
She was born Saturday, December 20, 1930, in Zanesville, the daughter of Charles S. Hemmer and Cora E. (Whitlinger) Hemmer.
She was a devout Catholic and was a lifelong member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and retired from White Chevrolet. Theresa was also devoted her family as a caregiver to her mother and the rest of the family. She was a loving person who would help anyone in need.
She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by five brothers: Karl Hemmer, Robert Hemmer, James Hemmer, Paul Hemmer and Charles Hemmer and two sisters: Rita Todd and Mary Ann Baker.
A Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 AM on Friday, January 28, 2022, at Saint Nicholas Catholic Church, 955 Main Street, Zanesville, with Fr. Jan C.P. Sullivan officiating. Burial will conclude in the Mount Olive Cemetery Zanesville.
