Third Shooting in Three Weeks in Zanesville
It’s becoming a familiar headline in Zanesville. For the third time in less than three weeks, authorities are investigating a shooting.
According to the Zanesville Police Department, it happened around 2:30 this morning at 1025 Maple Avenue. One person was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital with unknown injuries.
It’s not clear whether or not it was a drive-by shooting. No names are being released at this time.
On May 14th, 18-year-old Marques Parker was shot in the neck on Ohio Street. On May 20th, 37-year-old Larry Lewis was killed on Mead Street.
