Thomas Allen “Tom” “Too Tall” Smith 58 of Zanesville passed away Sunday August 2, 2026 at his home.  He was born December 26, 1967 in Zanesville, a son of Gloria Pugh and the late James Smith.  He worked as a finisher with Kim Glass Concrete.  Tom was a “Jack of All Trades” and loved to tinker with everything. Throughout his years of working, one project stood out and was important to him, and that was a new set of stairs in a church in Utica

Tom is survived by his daughter Carrie (Alex) Mosley; three step sons Matthew Watson, Eric Cable and Dave Arbuckle; one brother Rick (Kay) Smith and one sister Donna (Jeff) Firestone.  Seven grandchildren Lexi, Lincoln and Shane Mosley; Macon, Blayze and Emma Watson and Isiah Cable; Nieces and Nephews James Smith, Jessica Waggle, Wesley Smith, Tristan Foraker, Connor Foraker, Isabel Foraker Turner; great nieces and nephews Harper, Mason and Lucille

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 8, 2026 from 5-8 pm at the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1275 East Market Street, Zanesville, OH 43701.

Cremation services have been entrusted to the Snouffer Crematory.  The SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE has the distinct honor of serving the Smith Family.
