Thomas Fowler

Thomas James Fowler, 53, of Zanesville went home with our heavenly father on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Tommy was born on July 6, 1971, son of Patty (Ed “Pops”) Ferguson and Terry Boyston. Tommy is preceded in death by his brothers, Myron Green and Corey Mayle; cousin, Mike “MF” Fowler; aunts, Marsha, Rose, Mable and Charlene; sister-in-law, Crissy.

Tommy leaves to mourn his passing, his children; Paige (Jordan), Devin, Teela, Tayalen and Talahs; grandbaby, Raylianna Rose; the love of his life, Shala Curtis; brothers, Clinton, Eddie, Vernon (LeeLee) and Terrance (Nicole); sister, Tamika; bonus family, Mildred “Nana”, Jayden, Chasity and Gerald; special friend, Marty and Gary “Kessler” Jacolenne and Julie; his dear best friend, Skee; as well as many other friends and family.

Tommy was a fan of Pittsburgh Steelers, along with the Ohio State Buckeyes. He enjoyed dancing, bowling and playing pool. Tommy was the life of the party. He was the one to always keep an argument going. Above everything, Tommy enjoyed spending time with his family grilling out, sitting around a fire or however he could get them together. Tommy was a man of many nicknames. He liked convincing his family and friends that he was a rapper. Tommy was most recently employed by Rakes restaurant in town. He will certainly be missed by all that knew him.

You may call on the family on Friday, September 6, 2024, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with funeral services starting at 1 p.m. at Greater Apostolic Church of Christ, 1651 State Street, Zanesville Ohio 43701. Following the funeral, burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. BURRELL FUNERAL SERVICES is serving the family.
