Three Arrested in Drug Related Cases
Three drug related arrests have been made in Perry County in the last week.
Sheriff William R. Barker said that the first incident occurred on Oct. 26. Agents with Central Ohio Drug Enforcement Task Force arrested Michael ‘Shane’ Fulk, 41, of Crooksville and Goldie Mae Canter, 38, of New Lexington.
The couple was stopped on State Route 93 and taken into custody after Fulk sold drugs to detectives undercover. As the investigation continued it led detectives to Canter’s home where prescription meds and drug paraphernalia were discovered.
Fulk is being held on felony drug trafficking charges and he is scheduled for a preliminary hearing in the Perry County Court on Nov. 3. Canter faces a misdemeanor county of permitting drug abuse and is scheduled for arraignment on Nov. 5 in Perry County Court.
In a separate case on Oct. 30 the CODETF and deputies with the Perry and Morgan County Sheriff’s Offices executed a search warrant at a business in Crooksville known as ‘Frog’s Auto and Tire Repair."
As a result of the search, deputies seized prescription meds and currency from the business.
The search came after a 3 month investigation into the activities of the Repair Shop which was the result of citizen complaints.
Arthur ‘Frog’ Mauller, 40, Business Owner, was arrested on felony drug trafficking charges. Mauller is being held in the Southeast Ohio Regional Jail and will have a bond hearing in the Perry County Court next week.
