Three Charged In Theft Of Scrap Metal

The Perry County Sheriff’s Office says it has arrested three males who were trying to steal scrap metal from the Perry County Gun Club.  Sheriff William Barker says deputies were called to 4957 Clayton Township Road 149 in New Lexington by a Gun Club employee who caught the suspects attempting to load the metal into a truck.  He contacted the Sheriff’s Office and held the three males until deputies arrived.  Sheriff Barker says they faces theft and trespassing charges and are identified as: 21-year-old Aaron Miller, 21-year-old Joshua Bookman and 33-year-old Sean Dowling, all of Junction City.  The three will be arraigned in County Court later Tuesday.
