Three Named in Drug Case

The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office said charges have been filed in connection to a traffic stop on Bridge Street, August 4.

The Sheriff’s Office said formal charges have been filed against Jerrie L. Rastofer for possession of drugs, Bryan L. Mizer for trafficking in heroin and Daniel L. Gross for having weapons under disability. All three are from Coshocton.

Authorities said on August 4 their K9 unit conducted a stop on Bridge Street and as a result of the stop drugs and money were seized. A male and female were taken into custody.

Detectives then executed a search warrant in the 500 block of South 3rd Street where they found a firearm, drugs, money and drug paraphernalia.

Two male suspects were taken into custody.

These cases will be presented to the Coshocton County Grand Jury and additional charges could be filed.
