Timothy Caul

Timothy Andre Caul, 74, of Newcomerstown, Ohio, passed away on February 5, 2025. He was preceded in death by father, Anthony Caul; mother, Cynthia Caul; brother, Reginald Caul; sister, Brenda Savage; and wife, Georgia Walker.
Born on March 5, 1950 in Wilkes County, North Carolina to Cynthia and Anthony, he was the 4th child out of 7 children; 5 girls and 2 boys. Timothy graduated from Lincoln Heights School on May 30th in 1969. He left North Carolina in the early 1970’s to find work and landed in Dover Ohio. Timothy worked at Shenagos Factory until being hired at Ben Cooksons Construction, where he worked until he retired. He met and married Georgia Walker on December 7, in 1981. They were married until her passing in May of 2018.
My dad was lovingly known by his family as “BUD “and “POP-POP”. Timothy was also the “Unofficial Corn Hole Champion” If you played and lost against him, you would agree. He was literally good at everything he did, from playing pool to roller skating, riding his motorcycle and hand dancing with his sister Linda which, he tried to teach me but, I never learned. He was most proud of his amazing ability to play his beloved drums. Over the years my father provided his musical ministry to churches, prisons and other community events where he was asked to play. In 2024 he took first place in the Senior Talent Show in Grove City Ohio.
During his retirement years he enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, listening to music and watching football. His favorite football team was The Ohio State and his favorite basketball team was the North Carolina Tar Heels. He also enjoyed shopping at thrift stores and yard sales. What my dad enjoyed most was spending time laughing and hanging out with his friends and family.
It’s hard to put into words the type of person that he was. My dad was genuine, hardworking, funny, loyal, dedicated and loving just to name a few. Timothy was the epitome of a Southern Gentleman. Nothing made him happier than going back “Home” and spending time with family and friends in North Carolina. When he was “Home” you could hear the happiness in his voice and feel the love in his heart.
He is survived by his wife Deborah Frizzell; step sons, Mr. and Mrs. Clint Edwards, of Newcomerstown, Ohio, Mr. and Mrs. Jeremy Edwards, of Coshocton, Ohio and Scott Ewards and Susie Ames, of Newcomerstown Ohio; daughter, LaRae (Darryl) Hickman, of Akron, Ohio; granddaughter, Cierra Caul, of Copley, Ohio; grandson, Cristopher Price, of New Phila, Ohio and Darryl S.
