Tina Nelson

Tina L. Nelson, 60 of Zanesville, passed on October 18, 2025, at Licking Memorial Hospital surrounded by her loved ones.
She was born on August 23, 1965, in Zanesville, Ohio, daughter of the late George Sletzer and Dorothy (Kernan) Sletzer. Tina graduated from Maysville High School in 1983. She worked at Longaberger Basket Co. and Genesis Healthcare for many years. She enjoyed bowling and watching her shows like Little House on the Prairie, NCIS, and Dirty Dancing. Above all, she loved spending her time with her family and loved ones, especially her grandchildren.
Tina is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Randy Nelson; 2 children: Thomas Nelson, Amanda (Michael) Taylor of Lancaster, South Carolina; brothers, John (Rhonda) Sletzer of Rockhill, South Carolina, Jeff (Linda) Sletzer; grandchildren, Johnathan Nelson, Iziah Sparks, Jaxsen Taylor; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Church.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday October 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held on Thursday October 23, 2025, at 11:00 AM. Burial will conclude services at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
