Todd Head

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Todd M. Head, the absolute love of our lives, on May 26, 2026, at the age of 52.
Todd was the strongest, most loving man anyone could ever know — the rock of our family, a devoted husband, proud father, loving son, and the very best Papaw. His love for his wife, children, and grandson Hayden was unmatched, and his strength carried those around him through both the good times and the hardest days.
To know Todd was to love him. He never met a stranger and could light up any room with his kindness, laughter, and warm heart. Whether offering a helping hand, sharing a story, or simply making someone smile, Todd left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Todd was a proud power lineman for 32 years and dedicated his career to serving others through his work. He was honored to serve as the Electric Field Superintendent for the City of Westerville, where he earned the respect and admiration of coworkers and the community alike through his hard work, leadership, and dedication.
Outside of work, Todd loved spending time outdoors, especially on hunting trips with his hunting friends and family. Those trips brought him great joy, lifelong memories, and countless stories that those who loved him will cherish forever.
Above all else, Todd cherished his family. His wife, children, and grandson Hayden were the center of his world and the pride and joy of his life. He was a constant source of love, guidance, comfort, and protection, and the memories he created with his family will be treasured forever.
He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Jodi (Kinder) Head; his son, Tristen (Hailey) Head; his beloved grandson, Hayden; his parents, Jack and Susan (Harper) Head; brother, Chad Head; sisters, Paula Watts, Kathleen (Steve) Smout, Jenni (Mark) Lane; father and mother in law, Jack and Peg Kinder; sister-in-law, Casey Head; brothers-in-law, Jack Kinder Jr., Joe (Kim) Kinder; several niece and nephews; along with many family members and countless friends who loved him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jarrett Head; brother, Joshua Head; grandparents, Carol and Paul Denton, George and Dorothy Head, and Gene Harper.
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort knowing his love, strength, and legacy will live on in all of us. Heaven gained a truly remarkable man, and our lives will never be the same without him.
The family request that, in lieu of flowers, please consider making memorial contributions in Todd’s name to Johnathan Creek Gospel Church (5700 Bagley Road, White Cottage, Ohio 43791).
Calling hours will be held on Saturday May 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, where services will be held at 4:00 PM. A dignified cremation will take place following services.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever our rock.
