Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl looks to serve more Customers this Summer

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl is looking to serve more customers this summer.
As it gets warmer outside, many customers are looking forward to colder foods and of course, ice cream.
“When it was cold we had comfort food. I’m letting the comfort food slide off the menu. We’re getting a couple more cold sandwiches and we’re probably going to serve some subs…When it’s hot out, people don’t like hot food. Then you got ice cream on top of it, so if I can bring them down for one, they will get the other,” Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl owner Joe Baker.
Tom’s Ice Cream Bowl has more capacity than it used to. Additions have been made to its location by adding more seating, both inside and outside. There are 12 tables inside and 16 outside. In addition, a new building is open.
“People are starting to understand that they don’t have to wait too long if they come down here because we have more capacity then we used to… I have another building over there that you can reserve for parties and events. I have three different rooms. I’ve had the entire house reserved out before,” Baker said.
Baked said the business has already seen an increase in customers the last few months.
