Tony Danza “Standards & Stories” Comes to Secrest Auditorium

ZANESVILLE, OH – The Zanesville Concert Association is gearing up for their final show of the season.
Tony Danza “Standards & Stories” will be on Saturday, March 27th at 7:30PM in Secrest Auditorium.
WHIZ had the chance to sit down with Danza and talk about what the audience can expect.
“One of the great things about doing this kind of thing is that, you know, when would I be in Zanesville? You know, so I think that’s the real joy of this thing, the guys and I, and we’re a great hang.” Danza said. “The 6 of us, and so we get a kick out of this stuff so it’s fun, it’s fun. And doing the show is the most fun!”
Danza said his favorite part of doing the shows is seeing other parts of the country as well as getting to know the people that come to see him and his band,
He said that this performance will be a variety show, similar to “The Ed Sullivan Show” and “The Dean Martin Show”.
“What you had was a host and then you had a lot of different acts. Well in this show, I’m the host and all of the acts and it’s really fun to do.” Danza said. “And the show we’re doing here is called “Standards & Stories”, it’s the show I like to do when I haven’t been to a place, because this is like an introductory sort of show and it’s pretty self explanatory, it’s Standards and Stories. A lot of the Great American Sound Book and then a lot of my stories.”
