ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – According to Zaneville Police Chief Kennith Miller around 12:30 P.M. Monday afternoon detectives staked out a residence at 1030 State Street for Jerry Melrose Junior, who was wanted on drug charges in Perry County. Melrose faces manufacturing and possession charges.

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – The Muskingum County Library System is giving kids a different way to learn with it’s Interactive Discovery Experience. Assistant Director of the Library System, Blair Tom, says the activities at the different libraries give kids the opportunity to practice each of the STEAM categories.

COLUMBUS, OHIO (AP) – Supporters of marijuana legalization in Ohio have finalized their proposal and begun collecting signatures for a 2016 ballot campaign. Jason Wagner says his group’s proposed amendment would provide more cannabis access than a competing proposal by a different group, Responsible Ohio.
Senior Center Campaign Kick-Off
MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – In an effort to ensure a passing levy on may 6th, the Muskingum County Center for Seniors had its campaign kick off Monday. The point 5 mill levy breaks down to nearly 19 dollars a year for households of 100-thousand dollars. Executive Director of the Center, Ann Combs, says the cost is small, and a new facility is necessary.
