AirAsia Flight Located

PANGKALAN BUN, INDONESIA (AP) – Six bodies and debris seen floating in Indonesian waters have painfully ended the mystery of AirAsia flight 8501, which crashed into the Java Sea with 162 people aboard and was lost to searchers for more than two days. The discovery came after several pieces of red, white and black debris were spotted in the Java Sea near Borneo Island.

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – 62-year-old Alan Cottrill is the creator of the new bronze statue of Thomas edition holding up a light bulb which will be put on display at the Statuary Hall in Washington DC. Cottrill says the statue will go in a place of honor at the US Capitol building for a year before it’s put in a permanent collection among other statues.
