ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – A tree fell onto a house at 149 Galliger Street Wednesday, displacing at least 4 people. No injuries were reported in the incident.

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – Dutro Ford in downtown Zanesville has started work on it’s new parts and service facility. Co-owner Bryan Grahm said Dutro hopes to add twenty plus jobs when the project is complete.

James Joseph Kobunski Sr. Dies at 79.

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – 79-year-old James Joseph Kobunski Sr. died on Tuesday at 79. Calling hours will be from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at the Snouffer Funeral home. The service will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. at the Snouffer Chapel. Jim Kobunski will be laid to rest at Mount Olive Cemetery.

Mary E. Bush’s 55 Year Work Anniversary

ZANESVILLE, OHIO (WHIZ) – The City of Zanesville celebrated Mary E. Bush’s 55 year work anniversary on Wednesday. This makes her second in line for the longest running city government career in the state of Ohio.
