Flu Season in Full Force

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – Flu season is in full swing, and according to the Ohio Department of Health, current influenza activity levels throughout Ohio are widespread. Since last Friday, over 1,400 people have been treated for the flu or influenza-like-illnesses at Genesis Hospital emergency Departments and both of their urgent care units.

Crime Stats for 2014

MUSKINGUM COUNTY, OHIO (WHIZ) – Looking at crime statistics for 2014, Sheriff Matt Lutz said burglaries and assaults were down, forcible rapes seemed to stay the same and robberies increased slightly.
