Alexander Named ZAAP Gallery Artist of the Month

ZANESVILLE, OH – Tori Alexander has been named artist of the month at the ZAAP Gallery.

Alexander is a retired art teacher who enjoys depicting the world around her with her paintings. Rosemary Ludt, ZAAP’s Treasurer, said Tori has been a long time member of ZAAP and is currently serving as a board member.

She says they’re thrilled to be showcasing her art all month long.

“She does landscapes a lot, and they’re very colorful, she appreciates color,” Ludt said. “She tries to work different colors into her landscapes. She paints things she sees, like where she’s traveled or where she lives things like that.”

Ludt says that over 33 pieces of Alexander’s art will be on display, in addition to other art pieces from fellow ZAAP members. The gallery will be open from 5 to 8PM on Friday for the Artwalk.

“All of our members try to show a couple of pieces every month,” Ludt said. “So we have some really great art from some really great artists.”
