Tornado Siren Testing

Muskingum Co.-This week is Severe Weather Awareness Week.

It also marked the start of tornado siren testing across the state.

Muskingum County EMA Director Jeff Jadwin said they had one report of a siren not working. The EMA contacted their contractor, who is checking the siren. It should be repaired by the end of the day Thursday.

The non-operational siren is located on the Saup-Hartley Roof on the East Pike. The area is also covered by sirens on Hamline Avenue and Adamsville Road.

Tornado siren testing will continue every Wednesday at 12pm.
