Train Club hosts first day of Open House

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- The Zane Trace National Trail Model Train Club held its open house today.
For the first time since 2019, the club held an open house for the public to come and see all the work they’ve done on the display.
“We’ve gotten a lot of feedback. We’ve done a lot. It’s a good hobby to have during the pandemic and we’ve done a lot in the last year. A lot of people have recognized how much we’ve come in the last year, so that’s been exciting too, President of Zane Trace National Trail Model Train Club Brian Harrier said.
The open house started at 11 a.m. and the club saw people from all ages.
“We’ve had a lot of support today, a lot of people came out. We were busy right off the bat. We opened at 11 and it was pretty exciting,” Harrier said.
The train model will also be open tomorrow to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free and donations are greatly accepted.
